Pediatric Mechanical Ventilation through Simulation
The SimVent Workshop is a focused, simulation-based training program designed to enhance the understanding and practical application of pediatric mechanical ventilation in critical care settings.
This hands-on workshop enables participants to develop confidence in ventilator management for children, troubleshoot challenges, and make timely clinical decisions in high-pressure pediatric scenarios.
What You Will Experience
- Fundamentals of pediatric mechanical ventilation and modes
- Hands-on practice with ventilator setup and parameter adjustments in children
- Simulation-based scenarios in pediatric critical care settings
- Managing ventilator emergencies and complications in pediatrics
- Interpretation of ABG and ventilator waveforms in children
- Expert-led sessions with structured debriefing
Learning Outcomes
Participants will be able to:
