Pediatric Mechanical Ventilation through Simulation

The SimVent Workshop is a focused, simulation-based training program designed to enhance the understanding and practical application of pediatric mechanical ventilation in critical care settings.

This hands-on workshop enables participants to develop confidence in ventilator management for children, troubleshoot challenges, and make timely clinical decisions in high-pressure pediatric scenarios.

What You Will Experience
  • Fundamentals of pediatric mechanical ventilation and modes
  • Hands-on practice with ventilator setup and parameter adjustments in children
  • Simulation-based scenarios in pediatric critical care settings
  • Managing ventilator emergencies and complications in pediatrics
  • Interpretation of ABG and ventilator waveforms in children
  • Expert-led sessions with structured debriefing
